Hurricane Relief

Once again, disaster strikes and in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, thousands are without homes and they are lives have been seriously affected by this storm. Last time Crissy and I came together with this idea we raised over $15,000 and ABC Daytime matched our funds and $30,000 was donated to the Red Cross for the Tsunami Relief Fund - well we're back and we're hoping that we can raise just as much and even more for the victims of Hurricane Katrina.

What we are asking you to do is donate any amount you wish in honor of your favorite soap star, whether it be someone on General Hospital or any other soap opera. Go to the following link and make your donation as a donation in "Honor of" - each honoree will receive a gift card telling them that a donation was made in their name. Once you receive a receipt via email, send a copy to our email address and we will keep a running total of all monies donated.
Last time, we made our efforts known to ABC Daytime and they matched our total, dollar for dollar - we are hoping they will help us this time in our efforts.

When you fill out the form - the first section will ask you for information about the person you wish to honor with your donation. The second part you will fill in with your information and credit card info.

Once you have clicked submit, the receipt you receive should be forwarded to Hurricanefund05@aol.com

If you don't want your personal information known, at least send us the amount of the donation, your honoree name(s), and the receipt number they gave you. We will need the receipt number so we can have the funds matched by ABC Daytime.

If you'd like to honor more then one soap star, you are more than welcome to do that - Any amount of money is needed for the Red Cross and I'm sure they will be appreciative of our galant efforts.

Your donations are going directly to the Red Cross, we are just asking you forward the receipt so we know how much has been donated. Remember your donations are tax deductible.

There are thousands of soap fans across the internet, and we made an amazing effort last time for the Tsunami victims, Crissy and I are hoping you are willing to once again be so generous for those victims of Hurricane Katrina.
